‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will Kristen’s Plan Take Another Shocking Turn?

She has been scheming in Salem for months in an attempt to not only win over Brady but also gain control of her family’s company, but Kristen’s plans will take another unexpected turn as her latest plot also threatens to fall to pieces on the Tuesday, July 23 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) saw a big change in her plans when Xander (Paul Tefler) stole her Nicole (Arianne Zucker) mask, which she has been using to masquerade as the other woman in her attempts to gain control of DiMera and win Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) heart for good on the NBC soap. As a result, she was forced to once again don her Susan Banks (also Haiduk) disguise, which confused everyone because of her strange behavior—especially when the real Susan later showed up as a surprise. Now, after another meeting with Xander proved futile in getting the mask back so she can continue the plot she planned on, a chance meeting with the woman she is impersonating could take a wildly unexpected turn.

“Susan pulls a gun on Kristen,” spoilers state.

After Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) snooped through “Susan’s” purse and found Kristen’s gun in there, they confiscated it, only to give it to the real Susan when she produced a permit for having it. Though she was extremely confused as to why they were giving her a firearm, she will be grateful to have it as she runs into her look-alike. She will immediately know something is up, and since Kristen has always been the one to impersonate her, she may also quickly realize who she really is.

However, Kristen is also one to think quickly on her feet, and may be able to find a way to keep Susan from revealing the truth about her—or causing her any harm with the gun.

Of course, that won’t be the only blow to her plan though, as Xander has decided he is finished with doing her bidding and no longer wants to be a part of her scheme, not only because of the feelings he has for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), but because Kristen made it clear that she would let him take the fall if things went South. As a result, he may decide the time has come to truly end working with her once and for all.

“Xander ends his alliance with Kristen,” spoilers reveal.

Of course, this could also prove to be somewhat beneficial to Kristen in the end as well—because part of ending their alliance would include giving up the “Nicole” mask—which could let her resume her initial plans as a result.
