Dear Michael Bublé, Here's A Tutorial On How To Eat Corn On The Cob
Michael Bublé owes the world an explanation after photos surfaced of him eating corn on the cob — as if he were eating a banana.
Photos went viral Friday of the 40-year-old Grammy award-winning singer chowing down on some corn on the cob while visiting Disneyland in Anaheim, California, this past Wednesday. Assuming he packed some floss before he hit the amusement park, the big concern coming from fans is the way he was eating the food. Instead of grasping the corn on both ends, Bublé chose to hold on to the ear of the corn while biting into it as if he was snacking on a banana.
Did no one ever teach him how to eat corn on the cob? Has he ever attended a barbecue? Was this his first time eating the tasty treat? Has he done this in public before? Did he put butter, salt and pepper on it? The answers to these questions we may never know. However, we can provide Bublé with proper instructions on how to eat corn on the cob in order to avoid any more future internet meltdowns.
Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck prefer the “typewriter” approach to eating the food. That requires the person feasting on corn on the cob to hold it sideways while eating the kernels left to right. You can watch them dig in below:
Gloria Starr, an etiquette coach, suggests using corn on the cob holders to stick into the edges of the corn. If those are not available there is no need to fret. Starr says you can use your hands, but you must bring the corn to you, rather than going down to the corn. Watch her tutorial below:
So far no word on whether Michael Bublé eats a banana like corn on the cob.
