'Demon Slayer' Season 2 Release Date Announcement Reportedly Happening In September

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2 is one of the highly anticipated anime releases this year and it appears that fans will finally get to know the official release date of the Entertainment District Arc's anime adaptation in September, according to a recent leak.

Ufotable, the Japanese animation company behind "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2, has earlier confirmed that the anime is coming this year. According to Twitter user DemonSlayerSc, fans can learn about the second season's release date on Sept. 25.

"More information about 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' Season 2 will be revealed on September 25, 2021. Release date may be announced!" the user tweeted.

Several sites previously reported that anime's second season would be released sometime in October. And it appears that a release date announcement toward the end of September aligns with this timetable. However, there is no official announcement yet.

The upcoming anime will pick up where the movie "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" left off. It will adapt the Entertainment District Arc, which appears in the ninth volume of the hit manga. In the movie "Mugen Train," Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko received help from a Flame Hashira, named Kyojuro Rengoku, to end the carnage in the deathly train.

The promotional trailers and stills of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2 hint that the demon slayers will have help from another hashira too. This time, it will be the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. Those who have not yet read the manga may not be familiar with Tengen Uzui's capabilities.

Fans got a glimpse of the hashiras in the last few episodes of the first season, but their abilities and powers were not revealed at the time. Those who watched "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" witnessed the skills and passion of Flame Hashira Kyojuro and how things became more manageable for Tanjiro and the gang with his help.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2, with its impressive animation, beautiful narrative and interesting characters, is something fans should watch out for.
