The PS5 launch title “Demon’s Souls” remake had reportedly gone gold last month, but a new report reveals more details about the content of the upcoming game including its lack of the 6th Archstone and the unavailability of new content.
The latest information about “Demon’s Souls” Remake came from the popular modder Lance McDonald. The “Demon’s Souls” modder claimed that the highly anticipated Sixth Archstone would not be available in the PS5 remake. There are no extra lands to explore and the upcoming remake utilizes the same file structure as the original, McDonald shared.
The modder also revealed that “Demon’s Souls” Remake would feature Fractured Mode. This particular mode is a type of permadeath where, when a player dies, he is considered dead for good. Items, enemies, and objects in the upcoming remake are arranged in the exact file structure used in the original title, McDonald added.
While this may sound unappealing to some, the devs probably would like the game to launch as authentic as the original. McDonald earlier claimed that “Demon’s Souls” Remake has gone gold last Sept 24. Interestingly for some reason, there was no announcement or hint of the PS5 remake’s completion.
Meanwhile, the much-awaited game is now available for pre-order. The “Demon’s Souls” Remake Standard Edition cost $70, but it does not come with bonus items. Meanwhile, the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition costs $90. It comes with the full base game and other goodies.
“Demon’s Souls” Remake Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the Boletarian Royalty Armor, the Red-Eye Knight Amor, the Hoplite Shield and the Ritual Blade. Players get the Legendary Hero Soul, a Storied Warrior Soul, a renowned Warrior Soul, a Large Hardstone Shard, a Moonlight Shard, the Ring of Longevity, preservations grains, Bearbug Grains, and Phosphorescent.
Unfortunately, the “Demon’s Souls” Remake Digital Deluxe Edition is not yet up for pre-order. But, keep your eyes on the PlayStation Store for any update. Meanwhile “Demon’s Souls” Remake is set to arrive on Nov 12 in North America and on Nov. 19 in the U.K. It is a PS5 exclusive title.
