Derek Jeter, Hannah Davis Getting Serious? Yankees Star Meets Model Girlfriend's Parents On Dinner Date, Report Says [PHOTOS]

New York Yankees star Derek Jeter’s relationship with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis appears to be getting serious.

Jeter, who will retire after the 2014 season, met Davis and her parents, Debi and Conn Davis Sr., for dinner at a West Village restaurant in New York City, the New York Post reports. Sources told the newspaper that the group had a “lovely time” on their Monday night outing.

Witnesses added that Jeter and Davis’ family split a bottle of wine at the restaurant, the Post reports. On his way out, Jeter stopped to take a photo with fans who had spotted him at dinner and waited hours for him to walk out.

“Hey, it’s Derek Jeter and it’s his last year in a Yankee uniform,” the fans told restaurant staffers, according to the Post.

Jeter’s dinner date with the 23-year-old model occurred two months after the couple allegedly broke up. In February, sources familiar with the situation told the Post that Jeter and Davis had “hit a rough patch a few months ago and broke up,” only to rekindle their romance soon afterward. On April 7, Davis sat with Jeter’s parents, Dorothy and Charles, in a luxury box to watch the Yankees' home opener.

This isn’t the first time that rumors have suggested that Jeter and Davis’ relationship was getting serious. In August 2013, the New York Daily News reported that Davis wore an engagement ring while getting coffee with Jeter at a Manhattan Starbucks.

At the time, Jeter’s representatives ignored a request for comment on the matter, while Davis’ spokesperson refused to address the report. “We don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives,” the spokesperson said.
