'Destiny 2' Developer Bungie Details More About The Raid, To Ban Exotic Weapon Jotunn
Bungie has already released "Destiny 2: Shadowkeep" in the wild and the crowd loves it. The developer, this week, released a new trailer, showcasing the Shadowkeep’s first raid. The first raid, Garden of Salvation, will be a six-person PvE event that will take place in the Black Garden.
According to reports, the Garden of Salvation is expected to go live on October 5. Players are, reportedly, grinding out loot to acquire more strength for the arrival of the first raid, which is open to everyone. To participate in the first raid, players need to have at least 890 Power. Players are also advised to have a pre-made Fireteam of six individuals to take part in the first raid.
During the launch of the first raid, players will go through the new raid blind, and they need to figure out what to do with their comrades. Like previous Destiny raids, the developer will monitor the various attempts at the first raid. In addition, there will be some raid-exclusive Exotic weapon drops in the raid. Reports said it could be a Deathbringer rocket launcher or a new armor.
But, unlike the previous raids, the developer will only introduce a limited time modifier for those first-time raiders. The goal is to ensure that players will not be overpowered for the raid. Unfortunately, the developer has banned the exotic weapon Jotunn from the raid for 24 hours due to its effectiveness in combating enemies and bosses.
As for the loot, Bungie said there will be plenty of loot drops in the first raid. However, players will need to finish the campaign first as well as the following mission. For more about the first raid, check out Bungie or Destiny 2 websites.
