‘Destiny 2’ Early Beta Access, Expansion Pass And Other Details Revealed

Activision just revealed more details about the upcoming sequel to its successful online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game “Destiny.” The latest update from the publisher includes details about early Beta access, the expansion pass and the different editions of “Destiny 2.”

For players who want to get early Beta access to play “Destiny 2,” Activision requires preordering the game either from the official site of the “Destiny” games or from any participating retailers. The full schedule of Beta testing has yet to be revealed. The publisher stated that early access period and open Beta dates will be announced at a later date.

Players who are preordering the game directly from the “Destiny” website or from a first-party digital store will automatically be granted Beta access once the Beta officially launches. For those preordering the game from participating retailers, they need to have a valid Bungie.net account first to redeem the Beta redemption code.

Meanwhile, the different editions of “Destiny 2” have been outed, alongside the details on the game’s Expansion Pass. The Standard Edition comes only with the base game, so players may choose the Game + Expansion Pass version to get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II that offer new story missions, competitive multiplayer, cooperative activities and a wide range of weapons, armor and gear.
