'Destiny 2' Hunter Guide: Season 19 Headstone PVE Stasis Build

Stasis has somewhat fallen out of favor after the reworks for the three main Light subclasses in "Destiny 2," but it's far from underpowered. With the proper setup, any Guardian will be able to match Void, Arc and Solar's power levels easily.

This build revolves around using Stasis weapons and abilities with the Hunter class to offer a little bit of everything, from high AOE burst damage to defensive buffs and crowd control support.

Gear Loadout

Headstone is still one of the best perks to have for a PvE Stasis build. Accurate Guardians can fill the battlefield with Stasis crystals that grant a ton of bonuses just for simply being near them. They can also be broken to cause detonations that deal massive damage, perfect for clearing out groups.

The Eyasluna Hand Cannon is perfect for this, though other options like the Disparity and New Purpose Pulse Rifles are also viable. Players who want raw DPS can try out the new Prolonged Engagement SMG with the Target Lock perk instead.

The exotic armor piece of choice here is the Renewal Grasps, which increases the size of Duskfield Grenades while also granting all allies inside the zone a big damage resistance buff.

Aspects and Fragments

These two aspects combined result in faster overall energy regeneration as well as on-demand Stasis crystal generation with Duskfield Grenades, something that's otherwise impossible to do for other classes.

Touch of Winter makes the Renewal Grasp and Duskfield Grenade combo great for a hybrid offensive and defensive playstyle, especially when paired with a Headstone weapon since it lets players pepper the field with Stasis crystals.

This fragment setup allows for even faster energy regeneration, improved Stasis crystal detonation effectiveness and extra primary weapon damage versus frozen targets.

Eyasluna is great for this build because it can destroy crystals in one hit when Rending is equipped. Additionally, it can two-tap most red-bar enemies with precise shots and destroy yellow-bar targets without breaking a sweat as long as they're frozen.

Armor Mods

• Elemental Armaments
• Font of Might
• Utility Kickstart

These four mods form the core of the build. They all revolve around buffing Stasis damage while also providing players with much-needed energy regeneration via Elemental Wells.

Season 19's Monochromatic Maestro is ridiculously easy to proc with Revenant since Withering Blade comes with two charges. Gambler's Dodge also means players can get an extra shuriken throw every so often. Fill up the remaining slots with other flavor mods like Grenade Kickstart and resistance boosters.

Don't forget to adjust the weapon and mod setups according to Match Game and Champion requirements on each activity.
