We only have a couple of weeks left in “Destiny 2: Season of the Undying,” and so far, we have seen pretty much all that it has to offer. Bungie, the game developer behind the popular game, is not likely to release any more surprises in the transition over to Season of Dawn on Dec. 10, or so we thought. Surprisingly, a new report claims that “Destiny 2: Season of the Undying” will feature Vex and time-travel.

The report comes from Otakukart, which claims that in a blog post released by Bungie, more details would be revealed about the new season. The game developer will reportedly release new information about the next season through a live stream that will start at 10 AM Pacific Time on Dec. 10, 2019. Additionally, the report claims that Bungie made it clear that it wants to make the story overarching.

The game developer also revealed more information about “Destiny 2: Season of the Undying” through its Vidocs of Shadowkeep, the report says. It also reportedly showed a whiteboard where developers are writing down details of the arcs of each season, the report continues. One of the exciting things that caught the site’s attention was the phrase written under the “Dawn” heading.

The phrase, according to the site, suggests that there might be more things associated with Vex coming to “Destiny 2: Season of the Undying.” Vex is the time-traveling robot nemesis in the game. There might also be a feature that will allow players to revisit past “Destiny 2” events, the report reveals.

While it is an interesting story, the report fails to cite a source apart from the claim that the idea was from a video documentary from Bungie. Also, the phrase Dawn does not seem to reveal anything else, much more about Vex. The report simply ‘theorized’ that it might be associated with the time-traveling robots.

Considering that “Destiny 2: Season of the Undying” is inching closer to its end, it is unlikely that Bungie will release something like this. It is possible to see this stuff on the next season, which is the “Shadow of Dawn.” Additionally, the phrase ‘dawn’ that the report points out is seemingly more aligned to the title of the upcoming season than it is with the current season.
