‘Devious Maids’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 12 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Suspicion’?
And then there were two. Next Monday, Lifetime's “Devious Maids” airs its last episode before the Season 3 finale. And according to the synopsis for “Suspicion,” episode 12 will be jam-packed with bloody good drama – emphasis on the “bloody.”
The summary teases that Marisol (Ana Ortiz) will begin pointing fingers at a new murder suspect after the former maid learns that Michael’s (Brett Cullen) crazy ex-wife Olivia (Valerie Mahaffey) wasn’t responsible for Blanca’s (Naya Rivera) gruesome death. So, who does Marisol think has blood on their hands now? Well, she’s looking at Michael’s second wife this time: Taylor (Brianna Brown).
“Marisol starts to believe that Taylor is hiding something about the murders,” the synopsis for episode 12 reveals. It’s been clear since Season 3 kicked off that Taylor has a secret – and a dark one at that. But is she really the killer?
Susan Lucci, who portrays Genevieve Delatour on the mischievous series, dished during an interview with TVLine in July that it won’t be obvious who the Beverly Hills slasher is. In fact, she wasn’t in the ballpark when she attempted to guess “whodunit.”
“In the hair and makeup trailer, everybody talks, and no one was able to figure [who was the killer was] except for one person, and it wasn’t until the very end,” she revealed, adding that she wasn’t “on that wavelength.”
“I was surprised, but you’ll definitely be able to go back and notice where all the clues were given. It’s very interesting,” she promised.
While Marisol attempts to track down the killer, Zoila (Judy Reyes) will face the challenge of “adapting to a big change in her job.” In episode 11, Dr. Neff (John O’Hurley) made Genevieve make the difficult decision of choosing between him and her longtime employee and friend, Zoila. Ultimately, Genevieve chose her lover, which means Zoila is down a companion – and a job.
But it seems like a majority of episode 12 will follow the storyline of Katy’s (Grecia Merino) kidnapping. It was revealed that Ernesto (Cristian de la Fuente) will “set a plan into motion” that will involve giving “Katy” (the daughter of a dead man) to the head of Ernesto’s cartel, which, in exchange, will give Rosie’s (Dania Ramirez) husband his freedom from the Mexican crime gang. However, Ernesto’s mission will result in dangerous consequences for Rosie. (Let’s just hope it’s not a deadly consequence.)
“Devious Maids” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
