Belgian fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg wants "peace and love" for Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

In the wake of the drama surrounding the Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan," von Furstenberg took to Instagram to share a side-by-side photo of the Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex wearing the same lace dress, which was one of the designer's creations.

In the caption, von Furstenberg penned a sweet message for the two royal women, who have been pitted against each other since Markle married Prince Harry in 2018.

"Once upon a time two beautiful women married two kind and handsome princes," the wrap dress creator, 75, wrote in the caption Saturday.

"Here [are] both wearing the same @DVF dress called Zorita," she continued. "Wishing them all peace and love for the new year!"

A number of social media users approved of von Furstenberg's message for Prince William's and Prince Harry's wives. They agreed that there should be no competition between them.

"Thank you for always elevating the issues with kindness," one commented. Another added, "Thank you for the empowerment here. We need more people like this."

"I wish all posts were as kind as yours," a third person said.

"Diane, thanks for being consistently gracious, kind and classy," another fan wrote.

"Diane Von Furstenberg has healed the world with a single Instagram post," one person tweeted.

Markle was the first to wear the lace dress, choosing the navy mini version for a USA Network event in Los Angeles in 2012, Us Weekly reported. She paired it with nude pumps and honey highlights in her hair.

Two years later, Middleton wore a floor-length black version of the look for the Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London in 2014. She pulled her hair back into a loose bun and accessorized it with diamond hoop earrings.

Von Furstenberg's post came days after the release of Prince Harry and Markle's six-episode docuseries "Harry & Meghan," where they explored their love story, their relationship with the royal family and their exit from royal life.

In one episode, Markle recalled being "in ripped jeans and barefoot" during her first meeting with Prince William and his wife Princess Kate. The former actress implied that unlike her, the Prince and Princess of Wales were not huggers.

"Like I was a hugger, always been a hugger," Markle said on the series, People reported. "I didn't realize that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits."

She continued, "I guess I'd start to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside, carried through on the inside. There is a forward-facing way of being and then you close the door and you relax now. But that formality carries over on both sides. And that was surprising to me."

Prince Harry also alleged that his older brother William "screamed" at him over his decision to step back as a working royal in 2020.

Following the docuseries' release, former palace press secretary Dickie Arbiter claimed that he doesn't see a reconciliation happening between the Sussexes and the royal family following the Netflix project and Prince Harry's upcoming memoir, "Spare."

"A lot of people are talking about reconciliation talks, but look at what's happened over the [past] two years," the royal commentator said on Australia's "Today." "Harry and Meghan have rubbished the family. They've rubbished the United Kingdom, they've labeled the people of the United Kingdom racists, [and] they've had six hours on Netflix, [in which they] continued to rubbish the family. I don't see reconciliation coming about as a result of all that."
