Did Anyone Win Wednesday's Powerball? Sept. 28 Winning Numbers And Saturday's New Jackpot
The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did not have a grand prize winner for the estimated $300 million jackpot with a cash option of $159.5 million.
The next drawing on Friday will have a jackpot of $322 million with a $170.8 million cash value.
The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, Sept. 28, were 6, 10, 24, 33, and 67, with a red Powerball of 11. The Power Play was 3X.
Although there were no grand prize winners, there was one instant millionaire following the latest drawing. A player in Florida hit the Match 5 with the Power Play, winning $2 million.
No one managed to match five numbers and take home a $1 million prize.
Several smaller monetary prizes were also won. Eight players hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 apiece.
Meanwhile, there was only one player who won the Match 4 plus red Powerball with the 3X Power Play and walked away with a $150,000 prize.
The rest of the monetary winnings from the night ranged between $4 and $300. A total of 500,459 people won prizes from the Saturday night jackpot.
The latest lottery game comes after Indiana experienced a wave of Powerball wins in the Saturday night drawing.
The winnings in the state totaled over $3 million. The largest prize went to a player who won $2 million after adding a Power Play to purchase their ticket at a Circle K in New Albany.
Another player bought their $1 million winning ticket at a Bedels One Stop Marathon in Laurel. Other big wins across the state included two players who won $50,000 and one player who walked away with a $100,000 prize.
Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.
Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
