Did Bruce Jenner Leave Kris Because Of The Kids? Robert Kardashian’s Ex Calls Khloe And Kourtney Kardashian ‘Spoiled Brats’

Bruce and Kris Jenner’s reason for divorce was officially “irreconcilable differences,” but are her kids the real reason? Robert Kardashian Sr.’s ex-wife Jan Ashley told Radar Online that his children played a huge role in her own split from the late Los Angeles attorney in 1999 after just 30 days of marriage.

"Did the kids have anything to do with it? Of course, they did!” Ashley said.

During their month of marriage, Ashley witnessed behavior that she didn’t approve of from his four children with Kris (Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Jr.). “They were after him for money, money, money,” Ashley said. “I don’t think he could handle them.”

The Kardashians weren’t very wealthy, according to Ashley, but Robert and the kids acted like they had plenty of money. “They weren’t rich, sorry. I know from Robert. Robert pretended he did [have money] too,” she said. “They acted like a bunch of spoiled brats! ... From their daddy, they wanted everything right then. He didn’t have any money. He always pretended he had money. I’m the one who didn’t care about money.”

While she may not have cared about money, Ashley told Radar Online that she made Robert sign a prenuptial agreement. She said Kardashian and his kids liked to act like “big stars” and claimed that their acting started well before they were being filmed for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."

“I was introduced to his kids, and they loved me and they’d talk to [me],” Ashley said. “They were acting like they liked me. Acting is the main thing they’ve got going on. And I don’t think they’re happy. I think people in your life make you happy. People who act like they’re happy aren’t happy at all.”

Ashley also claimed that an incident with Kourtney just before Christmas dinner pushed her into leaving Kardashian. “The final straw was when I went into the living room and asked her one thing, ‘Please help me put plates out,’” Ashley said. “And she said, ‘Jan, I’m too busy. Jan, go away, I’m busy.’”

Kris Jenner has publicly spoken about Kourtney having a very hard time handling her parents’ divorce. “Kourtney wore black for like five years,” Jenner told E.

Still, Ashley wasn’t making any excuses for her onetime stepdaughter. “And I have to say, Kourtney is such a b----!” Ashley said. “I’m sorry, if you act like that, you’re a b----.”

Ashley also noted Khloe’s rebelliousness as a major problem. She would often go with Kardashian to find Khloe hanging out with boys in a “bad neighborhood.”

Kardashian’s ex-wife noted that she was happy to leave him. “It took me about one day to get over it,” she said.

Bruce Jenner doesn’t appear to regret his marriage nearly as much as Ashley. She stayed married to Kardashian for 30 days while Jenner’s marriage to Kris lasted 22 years. Bruce was recently spotted by X17 wearing his wedding ring, and he released a joint statement with Kris that portrayed the split as amicable.

“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the statement said. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends, and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
