Kate Middleton didn’t break some rules when she took Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the garden she designed at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Last weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a family day out at Middleton’s garden. The couple brought their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis along and they had a great time there.

The Chelsea Flower Show website stated that they don’t allow kids under 5, prams, pushchairs or babies in arms at Chelsea. Princess Charlotte is just 4 years old while Prince Louis just turned 1 year old last month. But, Middleton still did not break rules because kids of all ages are welcome in her garden.

“We are incredibly honoured to have HRH The Duchess of Cambridge co-design the RHS Back to Nature Garden at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, helping inspire children, families and communities to connect with and enjoy nature,” an RHS spokeswoman told Express.

“The Duke and Duchess visited the garden with their children on an evening before the show opened to the public. The age restriction during show week remains the same and is in place for health and safety reasons. Children of all ages will be able to come and enjoy the RHS Garden co-designed by The Duchess of Cambridge at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in July and RHS Garden Wisley in the autumn.”

Many wanted the show to rethink their rules and let younger children get involved in the garden. A number were very delighted to see Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte enjoying the place. Also, Chelsea charges kids over 5 a full price, which can be a bit expensive.

On Monday, Middleton’s woodland wilderness garden was unveiled. Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, attended the event to support the duchess.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen kissing the Queen as they welcomed her in the garden. Meanwhile, Sophie was photographed climbing the wooden ladder into Middleton’s treehouse.

Prince William, Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II made another reunion after the Chelsea Flower Show. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance at Buckingham Palace’s garden party.
