Did Nicki Minaj Break Up With Meek Mill? Instagram Post Fuels Rumors

Rumors are once again swirling that Nicki Minaj broke up with boyfriend Meek Mill after the “Black Barbies” rapper posted a picture on Instagram.

On Sunday, Nicki posted a photo of Chanel sandals with a caption that read: “Thank God u blew it. Thank God I dodged the bullet. I’m so over u. Baby good lookin out. #BestThingYouNeverHad thank u for this epic gift @sincerearmani.”

As the hashtag suggests, part of the caption includes lyrics from Beyoncé’s “Best Thing I Never Had,” a song about getting out of a bad relationship. Following Minaj’s post, Meek Mill’s Instagram page went missing once again, as the rapper deleted his account which led to fans of the rappers wondering if they split.

It’s not the first time the couple has been involved in breakup rumors, which seems to happen often when Minaj makes a cryptic post on social media. But while neither of the rappers have commented on the latest rumors, Minaj has discussed her relationship in the past.

In a 2015 interview with Nylon, Nicki was asked about marriage plans with Meek. “I’m not engaged yet,” she said. “He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his his fiancée, and I’m always trying to stop him, like, ‘Nope! I ain’t got that third ring yet!’”

The “Pinkprint” rapper went on to say, “We’re just taking it one step at a time. And, you know, if that happens, if I get married, then I’ll have a child, and that’ll be fun, because I can’t wait to hold my baby.”
