Pete Davidson on Saturday posted an alarming note on Instagram in which he said he did not “want to be on this earth anymore.”

“I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so,” he posted.

TMZ reported his ex-fiancée Ariana Grande rushed to meet him at the set of "Saturday Night Live", however, he refused to meet her.

Sources close to Davidson and NBC told TMZ that Davidson informed security guards to keep the “Thank U, Next” singer at bay when she arrived to meet him. Davidson reportedly knew the 25-year-old singer was on her way to meet him as she was continuously contacting his friends after he posted the message. International Business Times, however, cannot independently verify the claim.

Davidson’s close friend Machine Gun Kelly also rushed to be on his side after the alarming post.

“Im in the plane now on the way to see Pete. Gonna make sure he’s good, I promise. Can’t have my boy in the darkness like that,” the rapper tweeted.

Davidson’s post came hours after he slammed Grande for poking fun at Kanye West amid his feud with Drake.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted,” he wrote on Instagram.

Grande was criticized for using the feud to promote her new album.

“Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online but Miley and I dropping beautiful, new songs tonight. If y’all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank u,” she tweeted at the time.

West took to Twitter to fire back at Grande. “I know Ariana said this to be cool and didn’t mean no harm but I don’t like even slightest level of slight commentary from someone I know loves and respects me. All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health so @ArianaGrande you know I got love for you but until you’re ready to really make sure everyone’s ok don’t use me or this moment to promote a song,” he wrote.

Grande and Davidson started dating in May after they split from their respective partners. The two got engaged in mid-June and were planning a wedding. They, however, split in October.
