Did The Weeknd Move On From Selena Gomez With Justin Bieber’s Ex?

Following reports that The Weeknd ended his relationship with Selena Gomez because the romance lost its spark, it looks like the “Starboy” singer has found a new companion--and it just so happens to be Justin Bieber’s ex.

The “Shameless” singer has been spotted spending time with Yovanna Ventura, who was romantically linked to Bieber in 2015. However, it looks like her feelings have since faded and she now has her eyes on a different Toronto native.

The two were spotted getting close at French Montana’s birthday party on Thursday and onlookers told Us Weekly that the singer seemed eager to show off his date for the night. “The Weeknd was there hand in hand with Yovanna Ventura all night,” a source revealed.

“They arrived together. They were holding hands. He was there for a solid two hours with her and everywhere they went they held hands.”

Insiders revealed that the artist was not shy about getting cozy with Ventura. “He was parading her around. He was trying to make it obvious that he was with someone. They were pretty affectionate and were together the entire night,” a second source explained.

Although The Weeknd and Ventura seemed close at the event, fans don’t have to worry about the star jumping into another relationship.

A source told E! News that the “Acquainted” singer, who was born Abel Tesfaye, has no plans on being tied down anytime soon.

“Abel is having a good time as a single dude. He is not taking any girl really seriously now,” an insider explained.

Even though the star was keen on staying close to Ventura throughout the night on the town, his behavior was just a part of who he is. “Abel overall is an affectionate dude whether it’s his girlfriend or not. He has always been the romantic type,” the source said.

Although he isn’t interested in a relationship, sources have said that the star thinks fondly of Ventura. “He thinks Yovanna is a beautiful woman and cool to kick it with but nothing more. She is fun hanging out with.”

While The Weeknd has been enjoying the single life, his ex-girlfriend seems like she’s inching closer and closer to officially being back together with ex-boyfriend Bieber. Since her split with the “I Feel It Coming” singer, she has been spending a majority of her time with the “Purpose” artist.

Even though nothing is set in stone for either The Weeknd or Gomez’s future romances, they both seem to be enjoying living their lives without one another.
