Did Zac Efron Break Paris Jackson's Heart? Michael Jackson's Daughter Opens Up About Heartbreak
Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson revealed Monday on "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" how the Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron broke her heart a decade ago at her first ever "High School Musical Concert."
The 18-year-old model explained how depressed she was at her first concert when she couldn't meet Efron and that she has not gotten over it yet. "The first concert I actively really wanted to see was High School Musical Live. Efron actually wasn't there. I was so bummed. He wasn't there," Paris Jackson said.
"He was filming that movie with the horses," referring to "The Derby Stallion," Paris Jackson said. "He was busy filming it when the tour was going on, so they had some guy replace him — that was, like, the most depressing part about it. ... I was, like, this heartbroken 10-year-old," she continued.
Paris Jackson visited the Jimmy Fallon show for the first time Monday where she discussed a number of her first encounters.
She revealed that her first ever vinyl was The Beatles' 1967 classic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and the first CDs she listened to were both from "The Lion King soundtracks," according to E Online.
She also described the time when she was first "starstruck" by Alice Cooper when she met the rocker at his concert last October.
"The first time was Alice Cooper, last October," Paris Jackson said. "He played on Halloween with Johnny Depp and Butch Walker and I got to meet him backstage. I was sitting probably this close — like, where you are at is where he was at — and I was like, 'I love you so much. I've always listened to you. I grew up loving you.' I was close to tears. I started watering up, like, 'Oh, my gosh!'" she said. "I'm crying thinking about it. He's amazing."
Paris Jackson is the only daughter of Michael Jackson.
"Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad's eyes," she told the Harper's Bazaar magazine.
"The first 12 years of my life I was homeschooled, which means that the only interactions I'd ever had were with family members or other adults," she added.
