DirecTV Now’s Holiday Promotion Ends Jan. 9
DirecTV Now’s promotional offer of $35 per month deal is ending next month. AT&T’s website says that the “Go Big” package with 100+ channels will increase to $60 per month starting Jan. 9.
If you haven’t had a chance sign up for DirecTV Now’s streaming TV service, you may want to do that now.- otherwise you’ll miss out on the great deal. If you sign up for DirecTV Now by Jan. 9, you’ll still be able to score the $35 promotional offer without the price increasing.
We’re not sure how long you’ll get to subscribe at that price: especially since the fine print on DirecTV Now’s website says anyone signing up will be locked in at that price,”Pricing, channels, features and terms subject to change & may be modified or discontinued at anytime without notice.”
Even with the bugs and streaming issues, DirecTV Now is a pretty good deal for the $35 price with the 100+ channels. DirecTV Now’s free trial usually lasts for a week, but as the Verge points out, this promo code at Slickdeals will get you a free month.
Subscribers can add HBO and Cinemax for a limited promotional price of $5 each to any DirecTV Now package. In addition, regional sports networks like Comcast SportsNet, Fox Sports Networks, YES Networks are available but in select markets. It’s also important to note they are included in the $50+ per month tiers.
DirecTV Now does not include any DVR functions, but it does plan on adding it in 2017.
