Kate Middleton and Prince William also have bloopers like the rest of us.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge always appear perfect when they are out and about. One netizen asked on the online forum Quora if the royal couple have bloopers. The netizens who responded to the question said, they do.

Eileen Wood, a Republican, said that Middleton has had an “occasional blooper.” According to her, her favorite was when Middleton’s heels got stuck in a grate when they were attending St. Patrick’s Day parade.

It wasn’t the only time Middleton got her heels stuck in a grate. When she was seven months pregnant with Prince Louis, she also experienced the same incident during a visit to the Action on Addiction Community Treatment Center that she opened.

The duchess was able to maintain her balance and avoided toppling over. Middleton immediately recovered and just laughed it off as she continued to greet the staff.

Aside from getting her heels stuck in a grate, Middleton experienced many embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moments. There were several times during Prince William and Middleton’s engagements when a gust of wind caught up her skirt and showed her thighs.

Her most serious wardrobe malfunction happened in 2012 during their Australian tour when Middleton’s derrière was accidentally flashed to the public after a heavy wind blew her dress up. The incident was very embarrassing, but many praised the duchess’ “great bum.”

Meanwhile, Wood said that Prince William’s bloopers included the time when she was told off by Queen Elizabeth II to stand up during Trooping the Colour in 2016 while they were in the Buckingham Palace’s balcony.

The duke bent down to have a chat with Prince George, which didn’t impress the Queen as they were watched by thousands of spectators. After hearing his royal grandmother’s order, Prince William didn’t waste time and complied. It was one of the rare moments when Queen Elizabeth II lost her temper.

Sue McCune Martin, who read about and study the British Royal family, have the same observation. For her, Middleton’s stuck heels and the wind blowing her skirt were her bloopers.

“The Royals are like us. They’re human and [explicit] happens. The best course is to take it with a sense of humor,” she concluded.
