Does Meghan Markle Miss Using Instagram Since She Dated Prince Harry?

Meghan Markle used to be active on social media, but she had to stop using them since she is now engaged to Prince Harry.

Before Markle’s relationship with the prince became public, the “Suits” actress still regularly updated her Instagram and Twitter accounts. She also had a lifestyle blog called The Tig that she had to shut down because she will soon become an official member of the royal family.

But does Markle miss using her social media accounts? It’s possible that she does because she used to regularly update her Instagram account. In 2016, Markle didn’t go by an entire week without uploading at least one photo or video on her social media account.

However, her online activity changed in 2017 since she was already preoccupied with her relationship with Prince Harry. From January to April 2017, the “Horrible Bosses” star only uploaded three photos and one video on Instagram.

But before that, Markle shared photos of her trips, clothing, dogs, food, friends and family on a regular basis. She also regularly uploaded quotes and inspirational statements. Markle has also been photographed during her immersion work and several other things.

Now that she is engaged to Prince Harry and will soon be marrying him, Markle could no longer handle her own social media account. She cannot also star in commercials or television shows. The former actress isn’t also allowed to be interviewed unless it is done with the other members of the royal family.

Markle can’t also sign autograph or even update her own blog. There are several other restrictions she needs to follow as a member of the royal family.

Luckily for the actress, she didn’t have any hard feelings about the things she had to “give up.” While speaking with BBC News in November, Markle said that she’s simply starting a new life and involving herself in other things.

“I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right?” she said.

Markle also shared the same thoughts about “giving up” acting and leaving “Suits” to be with Prince Harry in London.

A source said that Markle was already contemplating about exiting the series even before she started dating the prince, according to E! News.
