Prince Charles has been in love with Camilla Parker Bowles for years. In fact, while he was still married to Princess Diana, the future king already had an affair with the Duchess of Cornwall.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans are wondering whether or not Prince Charles loves Camilla more than he loves his own children. Some of them said that this may be possible because Prince Charles loves Camilla more than he once loved Princess Diana.

T’wanda Denice Still, who works as a nurse, said that Prince Charles definitely loves Camilla more than Prince William and Prince Harry because he chose to marry her so that he could be happy. Prince Charles didn’t seem to take his two sons into account when he had an affair with Camilla while he was married to their mom.

But more royal fans said that it is impossible for one to quantify who Prince Charles loves more among Prince William, Prince Harry, and Camilla. Other royal fans said that Prince Charles most definitely loves all three of them equally.

Tony Bartlett, a retired senior police officer, said that asking who Prince Charles loves more is like asking: “Does my dad love mom more than my sister and I?” He said that Prince Charles loves Prince William and Prince Harry as deeply as he loves Camilla.

Victoria J. Kidd-Cromis, a former student at Olivet Nazarene University, said that she doesn’t think Prince Charles loves Camilla more than he loves his sons.

“I think he loves his sons as much as he is capable of loving them. Remember, he did not grow up with a father who was a touchy-feely type of man so physical and verbal expressions of love were rare when Charles was a child… The love a person has for their children is different than the love they have for their spouse, but no one is not necessarily stronger than the other,” she said.
