Doja Cat Imitates Amber Heard's 'My Dog Stepped On A Bee' Court Testimony [Video]
Doja Cat mimicked Amber Heard in her now-deleted TikTok video, where she shared with her fans how her puppy stepped on a bee over the weekend.
The video was shared by a Twitter user Monday with the caption, "I, as a dog owner, can now finally say it sincerity..."
The 37 seconds of video featured Cat telling her fans her little puppy stepped on a bee, suggesting people already know "what time it is."
She went on to repeat the lines, "My dog stepped on a bee," and made a facial expression similar to Heard's during her courtroom testimony against Johnny Depp.
"Doja Cat mimics Amber Heard’s 'my dog stepped on a bee' court testimony in new TikTok," the Twitter user captioned the post.
The 26-year-old rapper had to delete the video following backlash from people who believed it was insensitive.
Many users noted even though people at that time claimed Heard was overreacting while sharing details about her dog stepping on a bee, she was still allegedly speaking about a sexual assault, due to which Cat shouldn’t have made fun of her courtroom moment.
However, some fans supported Cat, saying this was not the first time social media users made fun of Heard's facial expression.
"Where was this energy when everyone did this, but when Doja does it its apparently problematic?" one of the fans wrote while another one added, "THIS !!! If that’s the case then we gotta hold EVERYONE accountable."
Some Twitter users separately shared how Cat making such a video was "disgusting."
"Doja cat mocking amber heard talking about the sexual assault she went through is so disgusting like she knows she has a platform that many young women follow her on and this is what she does with it?" the user wrote. "I am literally so disappointed."
In case you have missed, here's how Heard said that line in the courtroom:
Depp and Heard got married in 2015, and Heard filed for divorce in 2016. While the former couple got divorced in 2017, the legal battle continued between them as Depp filed a $50 million defamation suit against Heard. The defamation suit was won by Depp.
