  • Donald Trump held a press briefing about the coronavirus pandemic this week
  • The press conference was attended by only a few reporters
  • The POTUS looked unwell during the briefing

Donald Trump once again sparked rumors that he’s unwell.

During his recent press briefing on the coronavirus pandemic, the POTUS sounded out of breath. He also held on to the podium tightly in an attempt to maintain his balance.

When he got up on the stage, the first thing that the president said was that it was a beautiful day. However, this bold statement was criticized by Political Flare journalist Jason Miciak, who suggested that it couldn’t have been a beautiful day because people are dying due to the coronavirus.

The American Independent uploaded a 16-second video of Trump addressing the reporters at the press briefing at the White House. In the clip, Melania Trump’s husband jokes about seeing so many empty chairs before him and saying that this hasn’t happened in the past.

Trump’s voice sounds a bit shaky, and he barely lifted his head while reading his speech from a piece of paper. He also struggled to catch his breath on multiple occasions, and it also seems as though he has lost a few pounds.

Some netizens couldn’t also help but speculate on Trump’s health on Twitter.

“This has to qualify as a mental illness. A functional cabinet would implement Article 25,” Twitter user @cdeblock said.

“Might not be if he’s gasping for breath,” Twitter user @Sadie06898903 said.

Others also mocked the POTUS based on how he has been treating reporters. On one occasion, Trump slammed an NBC reporter for asking him about his previous statements on the deadly outbreak.

“He hates the press but can’t live without them, he’s also deranged and should be removed from office immediately,” Twitter user @MShenette said.

“And then spends the first five minutes bashing the press to a very empty room,” Twitter user @opiedog8 said.

“How do you spot a [expletive]… They will not answer a direct question and repeat the same thing three times which had nothing to do with the question asked… amazing how America has experienced all these things the so-called world has never seen have all happened on your watch…” Twitter user @corderman said.
