Donald Trump and Melania Trump were very quiet on their wedding anniversary last year.

In a week, the president and the first lady will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. In the previous year, many were surprised that they were so silent on social media during the occasion.

“For someone as heavily involved in social media as Donald Trump is, it might come as a surprise to some that the President didn’t even mention the special occasion in his tweet,” Express reporter Kathryn Knight wrote.

Melania was also silent about their marriage milestone on Instagram and Twitter. At the time, her last post was a photo of Trump to celebrate his two-year mark of presidency.

“It has been an unforgettable two years in the White House. I am honoured to serve this great nation!” she wrote in the caption.

Trump and Melania’s marriage has been plagued with various rumors, most of them alluding to the POTUS having affairs with other women. In a past interview with CNN, the FLOTUS was asked if those speculations affected their relationship.

Melania said that she didn’t focus on those rumors because she’s a mother and a first lady. There were more important things that needed her time and attention. The FLOTUS also said that the gossip about their marriage was wrong and she loves her husband.

Melania is very fond of her spouse. In fact, for her, Trump is the “sexiest man.” She also shared that her favorite part of Donald’s body is his “beautiful” and “gorgeous” legs.

Melania is also very impressed with Trump’s leadership skills. In a past interview, Melania said that Trump is an amazing negotiator and he has what it takes to be an amazing president.

Meanwhile, Trump referred to Melania as his “rock and foundation.” The POTUS said that he “wouldn’t be the man I am today” without his spouse. He also described the FLOTUS as his “beautiful, kind-hearted and exceptional wife.”
