Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, is rumored to be feuding with her stepmom, Melania Trump.

Even though the two women are quite different from each other, they share an important similarity.

During a recent interview with “Face the Nation,” Ivanka was asked whether she will return to the White House as one of her father’s advisers if President Trump gets re-elected.

The 38-year-old said that her decision will ultimately depend on her children because they are her top priority.

“I am driven first and foremost by my kids and their happiness. So, that’s always going to be my top priority, and my decisions will always be flexible enough to ensure that their needs are being considered first and foremost. So, they will really drive that answer for me,” Ivanka said.

During her previous interviews, Melania has been saying that same thing about her 13-year-old son, Barron Trump. While speaking with Parenting magazine, the FLOTUS said that Barron is her top priority.

Since Barron was still studying in New York when President Trump was elected into office, Melania decided to stay with her young son until he finished the school year before they moved to the White House.

In the book “Free, Melania,” author Kate Bennett also said that Melania prioritizes Barron since she’s a mom first and a first lady second.

Meanwhile, even though there have been reports regarding an alleged feud between Melania and Ivanka, the two women are actually OK.

Two years ago, Ivanka wrote the sweetest things about her stepmom in her book, “Women Who Work.”

“Melania, you are an unbelievable mother with a heart of gold. You give generously of your time and attention and I appreciate your support and friendship,” Ivanka wrote.

And on the FLOTUS’s birthday in the same year, Ivanka called Melania her “incredible stepmom.”

But during her 2016 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Melania said that since President Trump’s children are all grown-up, she doesn’t see herself as their mother. Rather, they are all friends.
