Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump called him a “terrified little boy” in her new book.

On Tuesday, publisher Simon & Schuster released copies of Mary’s book, entitled “Too Much and Never Enough,” to reporters ahead of its official release on July 14. At present, it is the No. 1 bestselling book on Amazon, People reported.

According to the outlet, the majority of the book comes from Mary’s “own memory” and is supplemented by various interviews from their relatives, friends and other documents and records from previous reports.

In Mary’s book, she described how she grew up with the Trumps. She also discussed her assessment of the POTUS’ flaws.

“Donald's monstrosity is the manifestation of the very weakness within him that he's been running from his entire life,” Mary wrote.

“For him, there has never been any option but to be positive, to project strength, no matter how illusory, because doing anything else carries a death sentence; my father's short life is evidence of that,” she added.

“But he can never escape the fact that he is and always will be a terrified little boy.”

Mary also shared several brief anecdotes in her book. She cited her own background as a clinical psychologist and said that “unlike any previous time in his life, Donald's failings cannot be hidden or ignored because they threaten us all.”

“No one knows how Donald came to be who he is better than his own family,” Mary wrote.

“Unfortunately, almost all of them remain silent out of loyalty or fear. I'm not hindered by either of those.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s brother, Robert, is taking legal action to block Mary’s book. CNN obtained a legal document indicating Robert as the plaintiff and Mary and the publishing company Simon & Schuster as the defendants.

The POTUS has also talked about the book in an interview with Axios. Mary’s book mentions her relationship with the Trumps including the litigation disputing Fred Trump’s estate, which means the author violated the nondisclosure agreement she signed in the past.

“But she signed a nondisclosure agreement and she's obviously not honoring it if she writes a book. It's too bad,” Trump said.
