After Kesha accused producer Dr. Luke of “physical and sexual abuse,” he filed a countersuit, TMZ reported Tuesday. Dr. Luke alleged the “Timber” singer is lying to get out of their contract together.

His lawyer, Christine Lepera, said Kesha is on “a campaign of publishing outrageous and untrue statements,” the gossip site reported. Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, claimed Kesha tried to extort him in a plan orchestrated by her mother Pebe Sebert and her new management firm. Dr. Luke, 41, further claimed that Kesha, 27, and her mother admitted her claims against him are untrue.

The countersuit was filed after Kesha claimed Dr. Luke sexually abused her, forced her to drink alcohol and take drugs, and was verbally abusive to her for nearly 10 years. She essentially said he abused her from the time she signed on with him when she was 18.

Kesha kept quiet about the purported abuse for nearly a decade because Dr. Luke “threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down, take away all her publishing and recording rights, and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family’s lives as well," the lawsuit alleged, according to Us Weekly. "He also threatened her and her family’s physical safety."

Her lawyer Mark Geragos told TMZ: "This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for 10 years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke."

Geragos added: "The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain. Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time."

On one occasion, Dr. Luke reportedly forced Kesha to snort "something" before she went on a plane and then forced himself on her while she was drugged, TMZ wrote. On a different incident, she claims he gave her “sober pills” and when she woke up the following afternoon she was naked in the producer’s bed, sore, sick and with no memory of how she got there.

The singer claims the abuse ultimately led her to seek treatment for an eating disorder. She alleged Dr. Luke said, "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me." He also reportedly told her she was "a fat f***ing refrigerator."
