It's Dr. Seuss' birthday Friday. The famed children’s book writer would have turned 114 if he was alive. He has several famous books to his list, including “The Cat in the Hat,” “Green Eggs and Ham,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “The Lorax.”

Many of his books were turned into movies, and he has been an inspiration for children. To celebrate his birthday, below are some of his sayings, courtesy Brainy Quotes.
