Three popular anime series based on Akira Toriyama’s original works make way to Crunchyroll. "Dragon Ball," "Dragon Ball Z," and "Dragon Ball GT" are now available on Crunchyroll.

After the merger between two of Sony’s mega libraries – Crunchyroll and Funimation, the titles from the latter are moving into Crunchyroll.

Funimation has already started releasing its catalog of anime titles into Crunchyroll. The three anime series will be joining "Dragon Ball Super," which is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

The new titles, which were previously only available for Funimation subscribers, are streaming for Crunchyroll members from Mar. 15.

The wave of Funimation’s content moving into Crunchyroll started as soon the streaming services announced the unification on Mar. 1.

The season and episode count for the three series are as follows:

  • Dragon Ball (Seasons 1-5) comprising of 153 episodes in both English subs and dubs.

“Goku is a strange, bushy-tailed boy who spends his days hunting and eating—until he meets Bulma, a bossy beauty with boys on the brain,” read the official Dragon Ball anime synopsis.

  • Dragon Ball Z (Seasons 1–9) comprises a total of 291 installments in English dub.

“Goku—the strongest fighter on the planet—is all that stands between humanity and villains from the darkest corners of space,” read the official synopsis of "Dragon Ball Z" anime.

  • Dragon Ball GT (Seasons 1–2) comprising of 64 episodes in both English dubs and subs.

“The Dragon Balls have been scattered to the ends of earth, and if Goku can’t gather them in a year, Earth will meet final catastrophe,” read the official synopsis of the anime series.

However, Crunchyroll has revealed in the press release that these Dragon Ball titles are only available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The streaming service provider has not announced if the titles would be available in other countries.

Earlier, this month, Crunchyroll and Funimation announced that existing and new Crunchyroll subscribers will get access to simulcast and library content previously exclusive to Wakanim and Funimation.

Some of the other iconic anime titles making way to Crunchyroll are "Black Clover" Episodes 1-170 (Dub), "Dr. STONE" (Dub), "Fruits Basket" all seasons (Dub), "My Hero Academia" Season 1-5 (Dub), among others.
