'Dragon Quest: The Adventure Of Dai' Episode 61 Spoilers: Avan's Youthful Days

Avan's youth days will be the focus of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 61. The new episode is titled "Avan, The Hero."

The official promo trailer of Episode 61 reveals that the Order of Carl, led by Princess Flora, had fought against the Dark Army when the Dark Lord Hadlar invaded the world.

Meanwhile, Avan protected Carl Kingdom with his captain named Roka. After his encounter with Hadlar, Avan's destiny was set in motion. The new episode is set to unravel Avan's past.

In the previous episode, titled "Dai and Popp," Crocodine and Hyunckel were imprisoned by the Dark Army. They decided they would rather die than burden Dai and the others.

Suddenly, a member of the Dark Army appeared before them and announced they will be executed at noon in two days. However, he told them they were valuable warriors.

He gave them the option of accepting the Dark Aura and serving him. To Crocodine's surprise, Hyunckel said he would think about the offer. Crocodine was furious that Hyunckel was ready to sell his soul and work under Mystvearn.

However, he told Crocodine to trust him as he was ready with a plan.

"The missing Hyunckel and Crocodine are prisoners of the Dark Army. A meeting is held in which it’s decided that Dai should rally the forces. Meanwhile, Dai awakens but is unable to bear the weight of being a Hero and runs. He ends up in...?" read the official synopsis of Episode 60, according to Crunchyroll.
