Dai and Popp are in trouble because Killvearn has cornered them using his Kill Trap. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the duo's counterattack, but the series has been on a break after a hack on Toei Animation's network.

"Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 73 is not releasing this week. The official website has announced that a new episode will release on April 16. There will be a retelecast of Episode 72 of the anime series this week.

An unauthorized third party gained access to Toei Animation's network on March 6. It resulted in the shutdown of the company's systems.

The unauthorized entry affected the broadcasting schedules of four anime series – "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai," "One Piece," "Delicious Party Precure" and "Digimon Ghost Game."

In Episode 72 of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" anime, Hadlar was back into the battle. Dai released his Zapple and Hadlar noted that he was trying to make up for the lost aura with magic.

He also commented that Dai's Zap Strash was not as powerful as his new attack.

Meanwhile, Dai knew he can use the power of the scabbard to amplify the magic power of his sword. He did just that and prepared to fight against Hadlar.

"Hadlar rises again out of sheer force of will to face his true final battle. Dai accepts this challenge and chooses his Magic Sword. Though weaker than his Avan Strash Cross, Dai still has one ace up his sleeve...!? Their final attacks clash...!" read the official synopsis of "Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai" Episode 72, according to Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Dai, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Killvearn, Kiyono Yasuno as Marin, Kazuhiro Yamaji as Matliff, Yuuki Kaji as Hyunckel, Yui Ishikawa as Amy, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Popp, Tomokazu Seki as Hadlar, Tomoaki Maeno as Crocodine, Takaya Hashi as Vearn, Takehito Koyasu as Mystvearn, Takahiro Sakurai as Avan, Saori Hayami as Leona, Mikako Komatsu as Maam, Ai Furihata as Gome, Hiroki Touchi as Lon Berk, Akira Ishida as Larhalt, Konomi Kohara as Merle, Mitsuo Iwata as Zaboera and Takahiro Sakurai as Avan.
