Drake Buys Neighbor’s House In Calabasas For $2.85 Million
Rapper Drake has bought the neighboring mansion to his house in Calabasas, Los Angeles, for $2.85 million, according to reports Monday.
The 4,445-square-foot property features four bedrooms and five bathrooms and “an open floor plan, hardwood floors, and high ceilings ... multiple fireplaces and a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen.”
“An open floor plan, hardwood floors, and high ceilings are the ultimate example of California cool, while multiple fireplaces and a top-of-the-line gourmet kitchen make this the type of home friends will want to hang out in,” according to real estate site Trulia.
In July 2015, Drake said in the song “Where Ya At” that “I’ll buy the neighbor’s house if they complain about the noise.” The purchase somewhat holds true to the Canadian rapper’s lyrics.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Drizzy is dating Rihanna. While presenting Rihanna with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Award, Drake said: “The first time I met Robyn Fenty [Rihanna] was in 2005. The song was ‘Pon de Replay’ and the director of the video was Little X. I was introduced to her as the kid who played background music at the restaurant as people ate at their dinner. It's hard to believe that 11 years later all three of us would come together to create the visual for a song called ‘Work.’”
The 29-year-old “Hotline Bling” singer left fans guessing whether the two are seeing each other.
