Dwayne Johnson has given his fans an insight into his upcoming superhero movie, "Black Adam."

The 49-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday to share a black and white on-set photo of his highly-anticipated movie and wrote, "Wanted to show you guys this cool shot of our enormous sound stages and massive production efforts and scale."

Johnson asked fans to zoom in on the picture and take a detailed look at the set. "We're hitting our midway point stride and our A-Team production crew continue to showcase why they're the best in our industry," he added. "This is one inspiring production to be on."

"Post covid and back to work," he concluded. "The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change."

The movie is penned by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. It is helmed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who had worked with Johnson in another adventure fantasy movie, "Jungle Cruise."

The movie was scheduled to release in July 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed. The actor announced in March that the movie will release on July 29, 2022.

The actor also revealed a new addition to the cast of the movie, Pierce Brosnan. Johnson noted, "Such a pleasure to announce the final member of our #JusticeSociety, the bad a-- statesman, Mr @PierceBrosnanOfficial as the iconic and all knowing, DR. FATE. I'm grateful to have such a talented, diverse and hungry cast."

Johnson is actively promoting his upcoming projects on social media. Besides the superhero movie, the actor will be seen in "DC's League of Super-Pets," which is scheduled to release in May next year. He will also feature in "Fast and Furious 10" along with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson.

Besides movies, the actor is also promoting the "Young Rock" sitcom, which is based on his real-life incidents.

The NBC comedy will return for the second season but the release date is not announced yet. The sitcom's first season highlighted Johnson's struggles in high school, his experiences while growing up with professional wrestlers and playing football at the University of Miami.
