Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Launches New Energy Drink: When To Buy ZOA

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced the release date of his newest creation: ZOA.

ZOA is an energy drink created by Johnson, Dany Garcia, Dave Rienzi and John Shulman. They all have a background in health, which is where the creation of this "healthy" alternative energy drink came from.

The drink won’t be available for purchase until March 2021. It will be partners with the Molson Coors Beverage Company, which will be the exclusive distributor, according to the press release. ZOA will be available at major retailers around the country.

This company produces popular brands like Coors Lite and Blue Moon.

“I’m very passionate about ZOA. I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve our eager consumers with ZOA – the ultimate healthy and immunity-supporting energy drink that’s the first of its kind, thanks to our unique combination of ingredients,” said Johnson.

“My co-founders and I spent the last 18 months formulating this healthy and great tasting product that we could all use now more than ever,” he continued.

The zero-sugar drink is said to be the “first-of-its-kind” energy drink because it’s filled with green coffee and green tea that gives the drink 160 grams of natural caffeine.

It also has camu camu, acerola, vitamin D, 100% of the daily value of vitamin C and other vitamins and nutrients. ZOA will come in 16-ounce cans.

The price of ZOA hasn’t been announced yet.

After “The Rock” shared this news on Twitter, some potential customers shared the concern of zero-sugar. Many were wondering what would substitute it.

Others are just excited to try it when March comes around.

Last March, Johnson released his first liquor, Teremana Tequila.
