‘DWTS’ Predictions: Which Season 27 Team Will Be Eliminated In Week 7?
The competition is wearing down and getting fiercer as the finals quickly approach on “Dancing With the Stars.” However, prior to reaching those points, the remaining eight Season 27 pairs will be forced to contend with another heart-wrenching elimination.
This season has proven not to be one where anyone should feel too comfortable in the competition, specifically if they’re a female celebrity, as every single team that has been eliminated thus far has consisted of those teams. Of course, scores and potential viewer support also need to be factored in, and that could still make it an elimination that sees anyone go home.
So who stands at most risk of being eliminated when country night comes to an end? Three teams, in particular, seem most likely to be saying goodbye to the competition.
Because teams featuring a female celeb and a male pro have been the ones most at risk all season long, it wouldn’t be a stretch to believe another one could be eliminated before the next night of competition comes to an end. Of the two remaining couples, Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten seem to be most at risk of being knocked out.
Despite consistently higher scores from the judges, Team RenTen has landed in jeopardy the last two weeks in a row. While it doesn’t mean they have the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes, being in jeopardy multiple times isn’t a good sign. Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong faced a similar situation and were later eliminated as a result. Because they keep falling into that pattern, Alexis and Alan may have to prepare to say goodbye to the competition.
Of course, judge’s scores are also a big factor, and if the pattern of female competitors being eliminated is finally broken this week, then that puts two male-led teams in particular at risk.
John Schneider and Emma Slater, a.k.a. Team SuperDuke, had been doing well in the competition and had even improved in recent weeks—until their Halloween routine failed to impress the judges, earning only 19 points. Though it’s been a while, they were also in jeopardy during Week 2 of the competition. If their scores were that low, and they don’t have as much support as the other teams, they could be eliminated.
Low scores are also something that put Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess at risk as well. While they did get 22 points from the judges during Halloween week, they’re still not quite scoring as well as the other teams still in the competition. That will eventually hurt them to a point where they can’t be saved.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
