Ed Sheeran Named UK's Richest Musician Under 30, Harry Styles Comes Second

Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest musicians in the world right now. His tunes have taken his popularity to a whole new level and whenever he comes out with a new song, it becomes a gigantic hit instantly. After winning numerous accolades, Sheeran has added one more feather in his cap.
The Sunday Times recently curated a list in which the 29-year-old singer was named the richest musician in the U.K. aged 30 or under. The “Shape Of You” hitmaker actually topped the list for the second time.
According to the media outlet, Sheeran has added £40 million to his wealth last year and breached the £200 million mark overall. This means he is the richest musician in the U.K. aged 30 or under.
The publication also reported that the “Thinking Out Loud” singer has done more than 250 shows since March 2017 and over 7 million people have attended his shows.
In November 2019, Sheeran was named the artist of the decade by the Official Charts Company. According to the organization, the acclaimed musician has the most number one songs in this decade. The “Perfect” singer has a combination of 12 singles and albums at the numero uno position between 2010 and 2019.
Meanwhile, the second spot on the richest musicians 30 or under list went to Harry Styles. The former One Direction member has a total wealth of £63 million. Interestingly, the list was actually dominated by the former members of the boy band.
Niall Horan (£50 million) snagged the third position. The fifth, sixth and seventh places were occupied by Louis Tomlinson (£45 million), Liam Payne (£40 million), and Zayn Malik (£36 million), respectively.
Little Mix, the famous British girl group, clinched the fourth position with £48 million. Formed in 2011, the group has become one of the most popular bands around the world with their catchy tunes. The four-piece girl group also has 2 BRIT Awards, 4 MTV Europe Music Awards, and 2 Teen Choice Awards.
The top ten was rounded out by Sam Smith (£33 million), Rita Ora (£20 million), and Stormzy (£20 million).
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa made her debut on the list by becoming the eleventh richest 30 or under musician in the U.K.
