In a not-so-bizarre turn of events, pop singer Ed Sheeran now has a ketchup named after him. This likely will not shock his fans as his passion for the condiment has been documented for quite a while. In fact, he even has a tattoo of a Heinz bottle on his arm.

As reported by Us Weekly, Sheeran recently unveiled the new product, which is called Edchup. It was released in honor of National Ketchup Day on June 5.

“It’s actually real and you’ll be able to get your hands on it very soon,” the U.K. musician wrote on Instagram after the official announcement was made. It was accompanied by the appropriate hashtags “#Edchup” and “#TheDreamThatKeepsOnGiving.”

Sheeran’s love of ketchup is a well-documented gift for the internet. Back in 2013, he tweeted to a fan, saying, “Everything fried deserves ketchup,” and in 2010, he jokingly said that he contemplated blocking someone who couldn’t stand the condiment.

Heinz, arguably Sheeran’s biggest fan, has even publicly noted that roughly a third of their posts on Instagram include mentions or tags of the singer from 2014 to present day.

While the ketchup itself will remain unchanged, every bottle of Edchup will feature a unique Sheeran-inspired emoji, a tomato wearing the performer's trademark glasses. However, if you would like to get your hands on one of these you have to act fast as supplies are limited.
