Eid Al-Adha Quotes 2022: Greetings To Share On Muslim Festival Of Sacrifice
Eid Al-Adha, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," will begin on the evening of July 9 and end on the evening of July 10 this year. The festival will be celebrated in the United States on July 9, while countries like India will observe it the following day.
Eid Al-Adha, which marks the end of the Hajj season (annual pilgrimage season), is observed by sacrificing a goat or a sheep. One-third of the meat is supposed to be eaten, one-third is to be shared with friends or neighbors and one-third to be donated to the needy. In many parts of the world, Eid Al-Adha is also called the "Sacrifice Feast" or "Bakr-Eid."
Muslims greet their friends and family using the most common term, “Eid Mubarak,” or “Blessed Eid.” However, other words such as “Kul ’am wa inta bekhair,” or “May every year see you in good health,” and “Eid Saeed,” or “Happy Eid,” are also used.
Here are a few messages and greeting to share with loved ones on this auspicious occasion.
1. On Eid Al-Adha, wishing that your sacrifices are appreciated and your prayers are answered by the Almighty. Have a blessed Eid Al-Adha!
2. Allah Hu Akbar, Allah Hu Akbar, Allah Hu Akbar...Is your recipe your prayers on Eid Al-Adha, May Allah bless you all and your wishes come true...Eid Al-Adha Mubarak
3. On the Holy occasion of Eid Al-Adha that celebrates the Hajj... May you be filled with happiness and may every step of your journey through life be blessed by Allah. Eid Mubarak!
4. Eid Al-Adha Mubarak: It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: It is your piety that reaches him: he has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for his guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.
5. May the divine blessings of Allah bring you hope, faith, and joy on Eid Al-Adha and forever. Happy Eid Al-Adha!
6. It is neither their meat nor their blood that reaches Allah, but it is piety from you that reaches Him. Thus have We made them subject to you that you may magnify Allah for His Guidance to you. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad) to the Muhsinum (doers of good). [Surah Al-Hajj (22:37)]
7. And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as Mujrimoon (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) [Hud 11:52]
8. You cannot guide those you would like to but God guides those He wills. He has best knowledge of the guided. [Holy Quran/28: 56]
9. He is the One GOD; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise. [59:24]
10. And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, Al-Masakin (the poor), and those who left their homes for Allah's Cause. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [AnNur24:22]
