‘Elden Ring’ Alleged Combat Mechanics & Launch Date Leaked
“Elden Ring,” the upcoming RPG developed by Software in collaboration with “Game of Thrones” writer George R.R. Martin reportedly is arriving earlier than expected. While there is no official confirmation about the release date of the game, rumors claim that it will be released in April 2020. The latest leak also details the combat mechanics of the upcoming RPG.
On Reddit, a user named ExHanzo shared interesting details about “Elden Ring.” Reportedly, the upcoming action role-playing game will launch its first gameplay trailer at this year’s The Game Awards, which is usually scheduled every December. The leaker revealed details of the game’s combat system and gameplay mechanics. The Reddit user claimed that it will be like a combination of the “Souls” series and the latest game, “Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.”
In some ways, the exploration in “Elden Ring” appears to be inspired by the “Zelda” series, according to the leaker. Additionally, the majority of the game’s combat is based on the foundation of the "Souls" series. The powers that players get from the bosses are included in combos.
