'Elden Ring': How To Unlock All Endings
KEY POINTS
- Most endings will require the completion of NPC-related story quests
- The Frenzied Flame ending can be avoided by using Miquella's Needle
- Ranni has the longest quest among all of the NPCs
So far, there are six endings to “Elden Ring,” and getting all of them is required to get one of the game’s achievements for 100% completion.
Players can pick which ending they want by defeating the final boss and interacting with the proper items inside the Erdtree.
Here’s how to get all of the six endings in “Elden Ring.”
Age of Order
This ending will require the Mending Rune of Perfect Order from the completion of Brother Corhyn and Goldmask’s storyline.
Talk to Corhyn at the Altus Plateau after he leaves the Roundtable Hold, then visit Goldmask on the broken bridge near Leyndell. The pair will appear at Leyndell’s colosseum and then at the Stargazer’s Ruins at the Mountaintops of the Giants.
After beating Malekith at Crumbling Farum Azula, go back to the colosseum to find Goldmask’s corpse and the Mending Rune of Perfect Order.
Age of Fracture
This is the default ending of the game. Simply beat the final boss, mend the Elden Ring and take the throne as the new Elden Lord.
Age of Duskborn
The Duskborn ending is directly tied to Fia, the Deathbed Companion at the Roundtable hold. Take note that the Cursemark of Death item will be required for this.
First, talk to Fia until she hands over the Weathered Dagger. Then, bring the dagger to D inside the main room. Reload the Roundtable Hold and go to the now-open door by the blacksmith and talk to Fia there.
Next, go to the Deeproot Depths via Nokron or the Subterranean Shunning Grounds and look for Fia in a large area above the Deeproot Depths Site of Grace. Defeat her champions and then ask her for another hug. Exhaust her dialogue, then reload the area to find a portal next to her. Enter the portal, kill the dragon and obtain the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince.
Lord of Frenzied Flame
Players will have to find the Three Fingers at the Cathedral of the Forsaken at the bottom of the Subterranean Shunning Grounds. The door will only open if players have no armor equipped.
Obtaining the Frenzied Flame will lock all other ending options unless Miquella’s Needle is used at Dragonlord Placidusax’s boss arena in Crumbling Farum Azula.
Blessing of Despair
For this ending, players must obtain five Cursed Seedbeds by finishing Dung Eater’s questline. Give the seedbeds to Dung Eater at the Subterranean Shunning Ground to obtain the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse.
Age of the Stars
Complete Ranni’s lengthy story quest and summon her after beating the final boss.
