'Elden Ring' Release Date: Leaked Image Reveals Arrival, Appearance On TGA 2019
“Elden Ring” is one of the highly awaited video titles currently being developed by FromSoftware in collaboration with George R.R. Martin. Following its announcement and reveal trailer in E3 2019, reports about the game have gone silent, triggering fans to resort to fan theories and speculations about the upcoming game. Interestingly, a new set of images reveal its release date and information that the game will be at The Game Awards 2019.
At E3 2019, the team behind “Elden Ring” released its first-ever gameplay trailer, and several leaks and speculations followed suit revealing its gameplay mechanics. So far, we do not have information about the game’s launch window or release. But, an Instagram post may have already given away the next venue where we could see the much-awaited game.
The official Instagram account of IGN Middle-East shared an image of “Elden Ring” with a text on the bottom part that reads, The Game Wards 2019. This suggests that the game will be shown at this year’s The Game Wards, which is just a few days away. Earlier speculations claim that the highly anticipated game will be released sometime in the early part of 2020.
The early 2020 release window would be a huge surprise since we have not heard or seen much about “Elden Ring” recently. However, the upcoming appearance of the title on The Game Wards 2019 seems to align with an earlier leak where the tipster revealed details of the game’s gameplay mechanics. From the leak, we have learned that most of the combat is founded on the “Souls” series.
The leak claims that most of the power that the player gets from the bosses is embedded in combos like the prosthetic Sekiro but for all weapons. Additionally, enemies drop limbs, and only some can be used as a replacement for the player’s arm. Most of these limbs in “Elden Ring” are either burned or have already rotten.
Fans are hoping to hear more news about “Elden Ring,” but so far, this is the only information that we have about the game. If the game releases in the last part of 2020, there is a chance that it might launch on the next-generation gaming console, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett.
