Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s marriage has been subjected to various controversies.

In January 2019, Life & Style reported that DeGeneres was quitting her show to have kids with her wife. A few months after the issue made headlines, In Touch also published a story claiming that the couple were at odds because de Rossi wanted DeGeneres to quit, but she didn’t.

Apparently, the report was not true and DeGeneres is still hosting her show. However, that was not the only issue that the couple faced.

In November, there were rumors that DeGeneres was “smitten” with her pal Jennifer Aniston after they kissed on-air. It happened when the host invited the “Murder Mystery” actress on her show.

DeGeneres explained to Aniston how she kissed Howard Stern on her show. The “Cake” actress was interested in the kiss and DeGeneres asked the former about the last time she kissed a girl and came forward expecting a kiss. The “Friends” alum obliged and they kissed.

A source claimed that DeGeneres couldn’t stop talking about Aniston and she supposedly had a crush on Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux’s ex. However, a source claimed that the scene didn’t go down well with DeGeneres’ wife. De Rossi was reportedly furious.

Those who have been following the couple are confident that those rumors won’t affect their relationship because the two are made for each other. Several netizens even commented on a clip posted on YouTube about their rumored split over the “Aniston kiss” that it was impossible because the celebrity couple really love each other, they are married and they are smart.

De Rossi and DeGeneres are aware of the different speculations involving them and their marriage. Surprisingly, the America-Australian model was pleased with them because for her, it’s a sign that they were “finally accepted.”

“I thought, ‘Wow, this is great that I’m pregnant, not pregnant, divorced, not divorced, whatever. That means there is an acceptance for this,” de Rossi said.

All of the issues about DeGeneres and de Rossi’s troubled marriage are not true. Last August, they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. The comedian paid tribute to her wife by sharing a black and white wedding photo on Instagram. In the caption, DeGeneres called de Rossi “my favorite person.”
