Emily Blunt Reveals Real Reason Why She 'Worships' Brother-In-Law Stanley Tucci

Emily Blunt is an avid admirer of her brother-in-law Stanley Tucci. The actress is completely in awe of Tucci, who is married to her sister Felicity, for "always looking immaculate head to toe."

"Never seen him in his socks in my life," Blunt said about her "The Devil Wears Prada" costar in an exclusive interview with People.

"I love that Stan starts each day walking into the kitchen ... going 'Ah, Chrisssst,' probably from a sleepless night of small children being up or from a night where martinis flowed," she teased. But once "he has his espresso, he's a changed man," shared the 39-year-old star.

Apart from being a talented actor and stellar cook, Blunt revealed that the "Searching for Italy" host is also "a beautiful painter" and "a great drummer." He is also "weirdly flexible," with "a leg lift that rivals Jane Fonda's," she added.

"He's an all-around renaissance man who knows the way to everyone's hearts. And it's through having a damn good time. He's frighteningly bright, quick to laugh, loves to be laughed at, charismatic, warm and energetic," she said.

The "Quiet Place" actress recalled how Tucci used to bring lavish meals to the set, which showcased his passion for cooking.

"I remember he would come to the set with gorgeous fried risotto balls and pasta that would leave everyone just abandoning their nibbled-on kale chips and salivating over what he'd brought in," the actress shared.

Blunt said she "adore[s] the deep joy and delight" Tucci "finds in people. No one more so than my sister and his children."

"He's authentic and irreverent in the best way ever. He just gets life, and I absolutely worship the guy," she stated.

Tucci, a cancer survivor, first met his wife at the premiere of "The Devil Wears Prada" in 2006. The duo eventually reconnected years later at Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's wedding in 2010, a year after Tucci lost his wife Kate. He soon began dating Felicity before tying the knot in 2012.
