Only weeks after winning Bachelor contestant Emily Maynard ended her engagement to Brad Womack, the gorgeous 25-year old blonde is reportedly perched to become the next Bachelorette.

Maynard, who is a single mom, won the hearts of viewers and The Bachelor himself for her golden girl looks, sweet demeanor, and tragic backstory: Her fiancee, Ricky Hendrick, was killed in a plane crash in 2004 while she was pregnant with the couple's daughter.

Maynard is an aspiring TV host and may see the potential for finding her dream career - not just love - if she signs on to The Bachelorette.

She accepted Womack's proposal at the end of The Bachelor's fifteenth season, but seemed ambivalent about the relationship almost immediately. After attempting to overcome incompatibility issues, the couple eventually called it quits in June. Womack took responsibility for the breakup, telling People magazine the demise of our relationship was completely my fault.

According to an insider source for US magazine, He has issues, and you could tell from the start that it was never going to work with Emily.

Maybe Emily will have better luck as The Bachelorette.
