Eminem is worried about Maria Carey's upcoming memoir because he is sure that she will share details about their "toxic relationship".

Maria Carey announced a few weeks back that her memoir entitled "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" will be released on Sept. 29. Interestingly, an insider told Us Weekly that Carey's book bothers Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, because he knows she would attack him and share their "toxic relationship" in her memoir.

"Eminem’s Achilles heel has always been Mariah Carey. They had a very toxic relationship," the source told Us Weekly.

"He knows that Mariah is going to say very negative things about him. He is expecting the onslaught, and almost welcomes it."

The source added that Eminem is concerned about the information that Carey is sharing in the book. There are things that he would like to be private, including their sex life.

"Marshall is stressed out that Mariah is going to say s–t that he was bad in bed or a selfish lover because he has always been very insecure about that," the insider added. "She knows that."

Eminem hinted about his romance with Carey when he mentioned her in his songs "Superman" and "When the Music Stops." However, in his interview with Rolling Stone in 2002, when asked about them being almost boyfriend-girlfriend, he said he didn't like Carey as a person.

"There’s truth to that. I don’t want to say anything disrespectful because I respect her as a singer, but on the whole personal level, I’m not really feeling it. I just don’t like her as a person," Eminem said.

"I gotta be honest; I learned a lesson from it: Don’t believe the hype. I have respect for her, but she doesn’t really have it all together. I’ll just say that and that she’s a beautiful woman."

However, Carey denied that she and Eminem ever dated. She admitted that she met him several times, but it wasn't a date for her.

"I hung out with him, I spoke to him on the phone. I think I was probably with him a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody," Carey said on "Larry King Live."
