Emma Watson Lookalike Making Waves Online: Get To Know Kari Lewis!

Emma Watson is one of the most beautiful faces in the entertainment industry and not the kind of beauty you would find just anywhere. That is why many were shocked when a woman from Indiana was discovered to have an uncanny resemblance to the “Beauty and the Beast” star.

Kari Lewis is making waves online due to her striking resemblance with Watson, as proven by her photos on her Instagram. After discovering her resemblance to the actress, she has even cosplayed Belle from “Beauty and the Beast” and Hermione from “Harry Potter,” two of Watson’s most popular roles on the big screen. After Lewis became aware that she has a popular celebrity doppelganger, she also posted side-by-side photos of her face and Watson’s on Instagram. “This was requested by @emmawatsonlookalikes. #emmawatsonlookalike #celebritydoppelganger #abitsimilar,” she wrote in the caption.

Lewis is already a mom and works at a video rental store. According to her, she didn’t know Watson until two girls called her attention and told her she looked like Hermione. She had no idea who Watson and Hermione were, so she had to do some research to understand what the girls were talking about.

“I didn’t know who Emma Watson was when I was first spotted at a postal office and a couple of young girls told me I looked like ‘Hermione Granger,’” Lewis told BuzzFeed. “I had no idea who Hermione was, nor have I ever heard of that name, at the time since this was when the first Harry Potter film was released. So, my mom and I had to look it up and find out who she was.”

One great thing about fans noticing her resemblance to Watson was that this led to her learning about and reading J.K. Rowling’s bestselling novel series. She instantly fell in love with the books. In fact, she can relate to Hermione’s character.

“I think it was inevitable for me to like ‘Harry Potter’ so much once I started reading it,” said Lewis. “I think it’s super cool because I’ve always related to Hermione in the books (smart, bossy, avid reader, etc). So, it makes cosplaying as Hermione at conventions a thousand times better!”
