Model-actress and socialite Kim Kardashian has finally got engaged with her fiancé, NBA star Kris Humphries, and was seen sporting 20.5 carat diamond ring, which is estimated to be valued at $2 million.

Kim told People that she loved the ring and it was perfect. The ring has been designed by Lorraine Schwartz, who makes engagement rings for celebrities.

Kim, however, told People that she wasn't expecting Kris to propose to her. According to People.com, Kim is very shocked when she saw Kris bend down on his knee to spell out will you marry me in rose petals. The question was popped to Kim on May 18 at her Beverly Hills home. I didn't expect this at all, Kim told People. I was in such shock. But the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star did not hesitate to say Yes.

Kim, 30, has been dating with 26-year-old Kris for six months now. Recently, Kim had acknowledged that she loves Kris because he lets me be me.

Kim's sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian confirmed the good news on Wednesday afternoon.

Kim's step brother Brody Jenner and half sisters Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner also tweeted, congratulating Kim on her engagement.

This will be Kim's second marriage. She was previously married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000-2004.

Before dating Kris, Kim had dated Gabriel Aubry (Halle Berry's ex). She also had a few moments of fun with NFL star Reggie Bush and international soccer phenom Cristiano Ronaldo.
