Erika Jayne Has No Plans To Remarry, Date A Lawyer After Tom Girardi Divorce

Erika Jayne is looking to date a man with money, but she doubts she would ever be in a serious relationship with a lawyer like her estranged husband Tom Girardi again.

Amid her ongoing divorce from Girardi, 82, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, 50, got candid about her plans when it comes to dating and marriage when TMZ caught her as she was leaving French-Mediterranean restaurant Bistro Jolie in Los Angeles over the weekend.

When a photographer asked if she would ever consider dating a lawyer like Girardi again, Jayne paused for a moment before saying, "That’s a good question."

"Probably not," Jayne said. However, she suggested that she wasn't closing the door on the idea entirely as she added, "I mean, I don't know… I may need free legal. Who knows?"

However, when asked if she sees herself remarrying once her divorce from Girardi is finalized, she gave a more firm response. "No, I will not," she told TMZ. "Never."

As for how her dating life was going, Jayne, who recently encouraged men to slide into her DMs on social media, refused to comment on the topic and instead just laughed.

Jayne also told TMZ last month that she wanted to date wealthy men. "I think every girl, you know, likes a guy with money," she said.

She revealed that another quality she's prioritizing when it comes to suitors was "intelligence" but that she was not too concerned about looks and age. However, Jayne said she is only willing to date men who are at least 25 years old.

Last month, unnamed sources told TMZ that Jayne had been on "a handful" of dates with different men. She didn't use dating apps but turned to her friends to help set her up on dates with local guys, who included men working in Hollywood and outside the entertainment industry.

Jayne and Girardi's divorce has been going on for about a year now. She originally filed for divorce in November 2020.

In one episode of "RHOBH," she claimed that Girardi "pushed me further and further out" and that their conversations had been reduced to a sentence or two. Jayne also said she kept working around their home despite knowing that their marriage was heading south until she decided that she couldn't live that life anymore.

Amid the divorce, Jayne is currently being sued for $25 million by the trustee handling the bankruptcy case of her ex's firm, Girardi Keese. They alleged that the reality star knew Girardi was funneling money out of his law firm in order to pay for his wife's personal expenses.

Girardi is accused of embezzling money intended for the families of the victims in the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash.

Prior to marrying Girardi in 2000, Jayne was married to Thomas Zizzo for five years from 1991 to 1996. The exes have an adult son together, Tommy Zizzo Jr.
