Erin Krakow Announces ‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 7 Renewal: See What She Said

Hearties are a few weeks into Hallmark Channel’s “When Calls the Heart” hiatus, and they’re hungry for information. Luckily, the network’s decided to feed them quite a bit of delicious news this week.

During the Spring Fever premiere of Bethany Joy Lenz and Andrew Walker’s “Bottled with Love” tonight, “When Calls the Heart” star Erin Krakow (Elizabeth) popped up very special announcement about her Hallmark period drama

“I’m thrilled to announce ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 7 coming next year,” she said. “We can’t wait to get back to Hope Valley.”

That’s right, Hearties, the show’s been renewed for another season!

This wasn’t the first on-air announcement she made this week about “WCTH,” though.

After announcing Lori Loughlin (Abigail) had been dropped from the show due to her connection with the college admissions scandal, Hallmark and the show’s cast and crew had been staying fairly silent about the series, only letting fans know that it hadn’t been canceled and would return at some point.

On Wednesday, though, fans finally got the big news they’d been waiting for when Krakow appeared on their TV screens for a few minutes in the middle of the day to let them know when the rest of Season 6 would begin airing.

“I’m so happy to tell you that Season 6 is returning Sunday, May 5 at 8 [p.m. EDT], but that’s not all,” she said. “We want to give you something special to mark our return. So, we’ll also be airing a second brand-new episode on Monday, May 6… We can’t wait to welcome you back to Hope Valley and share more all-new stories with you.”

The actress shared a sneak peek clip of a new episode before continuing: “We’re so excited for you to meet our new mountie, [and] I know you won’t want to miss a single moment.”

As if all of that news isn’t enough, “When Calls the Heart” co-creator Brian Bird revealed more is on the way. He shared on social media that he’ll be releasing a new vlog on Sunday with even more “WCTH” details.
